Midjourney is a platform that allows you to create stunning images from text prompts. You can use it to generate landscapes, portraits, scenes, logos and more. The latest version of Midjourney, V5.2 comes with several new features and improvements:
Enhanced Aesthetic System Sharper and more beautiful images. Better coherence and text comprehension More diversity (please roll again if needed!)
The –stylize option now controls the intensity of the stylization on the image (similar to V3). This option ranges from –stylize 0 to –stylize 1000 and the default is –stylize 100
New “High Variation Mode” Enabled by default and adds more variety to all variation tasks. To change this, type /settings and select a different variation mode. You can also choose the level of variation you want under each upscale.
New /shorten option This allows you to ‘analyze’ a prompt and get suggestions on what words might be redundant and which ones might be essential

New “Zoom Out” Feature You can now use ‘zoom out’ buttons under each upscale to reframe the image [Zoom Out 1.5x] [Zoom Out 2x] zooms out and adds details on all sides.

[Make Square] adds details on two sides to make a square image from a non-square one
[Custom Zoom] (advanced) gives you a popup text box that lets you modify the prompt as you zoom out as well as the aspect ratio or exact zoom. To change aspect ratio, set –zoom 1 then change the –ar to your target. This option will try to remove black bars on your previous images.
